Sinead Heaney

Sinead co-founded Development Capital and has over 20 years’ experience working with SME’s across a range of sectors. She has extensive experience from assisting SME’s in both developing and achieving their strategic growth plans. Sinead has held non-executive roles with a number of Development Capitals portfolio companies including Perigord and Netwatch .

Prior to launching Development Capital 1 Sinead was involved in the management and investment of the Davy BES/EII Scheme Funds. She has been involved in investing and managing over €100m in Irish SME’s across various sectors under these Schemes. She remains as a board member of BES Management DAC, the Manager of the Funds.

Sinead is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a BA in Accountancy & Finance from Dublin City University Business School. She is also a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland.
