Andrew Bourg

Andrew co-founded Development Capital and has almost 20 years of SME investment and corporate finance experience. He is involved in leading all aspects of the investment cycle, from origination and execution through to board participation. Andrew has led Development Capital’s investments in Version 1, Lifes2Good, Obelisk, Blueface, Broderick’s and Multihog. Prior to Development Capital, Andrew was responsible for the investment and management of the Davy BES/EIIS tax relief funds and is Board Director of BES Management DAC the company which manages the Davy EIIS Tax relief Funds.

Andrew has advised and held board positions for Development Capital portfolio companies including Version 1, Lifes2Good, Broderick's and Multihog.

Andrew is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a BA in Accountancy & Finance from Dublin City University Business School. Andrew is co-author of “Business Innovation and Growth – Tax Incentives and Sources of Funding”, a publication which details the various sources of finance available to SMEs in Ireland along with advice and tips to SMEs on getting “Investor Ready”.
